Pretty little liars season 1 episode 03 (8TV, Malaysia)

This episode start with the four little liars (Hanna, Emily, Spencer and Aria) went to the wood to Honor the late Alison, but their plan was disturb by a noisy running sound that Spencer assume as the sound of a rabbit. Spilt seconds after that, they all got text massages from A, written as “Heads up, BFFs, it’s open season on liars and I am hunting…”

Well, I can see that Hanna did not really taking of their “Honoring Alison Ritual” so well , its seem that she want to do the last honor to Alison fast & just like touch n go (well, friendship is only for the people who still alive, doesn’t it?).

Jenna, who is blind from the firecracker which drives to the Jenna’s house on fire incident – all the liars called “the Jenna thing”, is coming back to school with her step brother, Toby.  In this episode, we get to see lots of flashback on the “Jenna thing incident”, where one of them show us Alison threaten Toby about something that she had on him and force him to be responsible on the fire.

Besides of flash back on “the Jenna thing”, the audience also get to see the flashback of Aria’s dad kissing his student (what goes around comes around daddy - which aria now dates her English teacher).

The storyline of sibling rival is heat up between Melissa and Spencer – of course, it’s a big issue if you are kissing your sister fiancé (it’s a NO-NO situation ge-girl), and this situation will be worsen maybe in upcoming episode since Spencer is copying Melissa’s high school assignment about Russian revolution.

As its started, this episode is also ends with all the little liars trying to give their last honor to Alison, but same with the beginning if this episode, they hear a noise, not to miss the person for the second time, they try to hunt down the stalker but end up with finding a bracelet that reads "Alison." instead. Who are the stalker and who is A and what she is up to?? Is she is giving the clue of the person who killed her? So many question need to be resolved.

The best dress? Okay…okay…I need to choose 1. Its hard to make a decision since none of it catch my eyes. Ok the honor goes to Hanna, with the red dress that she wear during the party...

Meanwhile, the best quotes I need to give it to Jenna : Whisper, wisper, wisper, its almost like Alison is still here”.

Jenna... she also kept some secret?

Unlike the gossip girl, most of the quotes in Pretty Little Liars is not funny and is really serious. But I like this show, still =)

While tonight songs kind of catch my ear – one of my favorite is the song airing while Aria meet Mr. Firtz, at the end of the episode sing by Jaylene Johnson, the title is Closer.

Going to Jakarta -->> visiting my friend

well... again. to jakarta. i had went there last month to pay a visit to my friend, who just start to work there. I think she is a little bit lonely there, even u are working with you colleague from same country, but everybody is keep busying with own thing.

I cant believe their MIDNIGHT movie start at 10 PM. u know--->> MIDNIGHT?? does the name already suggest that the MIDNIGHT MOVIE should start at THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, which is absolutely not 10 PM??

Back to my friend, i have a SUPRISE3! for her. huhuhuuh~~ the novel she ever wanted to has but never had a chance to buy --> jeng3.... LAGENDA BUDAK SETAN 1. call us 2000 late but i am actually not a fan of Malay Novel, n for my friend, just forgive her since she is from Japan, so when the LAGENDA BUDAK SETAN movie boom, only she know about the existence of this novel.

Movie reviews: Insidious (Showing time in 19 May onwards - Malaysia)

Showing time in Malaysia: Start from 19 May 2011

Director: James Wan

This movie is about a family (Husband: Josh, wife: Renai, and their 2 sons and a daughter) being disturb by ghosts after moving into their new house. At first, I thought that this is just the common “Haunted House” (OH HO – SO BORING ALREADY) story line movie, but it caught my attention when this couple moves to a new house after their first son had a coma, but the entities still following them.

To resolve the problem, Josh and Renai bring the psychic medium person (who is also a friend of josh’s mother) to help them. After that only the audiences are expose to the reason behind the entities’ disturbance. Actually this movie is more as a supernatural movie rather than a ghost story.

I am giving these movie 4 stars, since, the story line is differ from the normal ghost story who seek for revenge, and for the logical of the story.

This movie make me think twice before going to bed (don’t “hahahah” me, since most of my dreams are about re-sitting my SPM! Who want to be trapped in this type of dream for ever, right?)

KONGSI – A Must watch Malay Movie, Malaysia

Yeah, I know I am a little bit late to discuss about Kongsi. But, for those who still does not has a chance to watch it, better go and watch than never.

This movie is about a man (Temulak) from Thailand who comes to Malaysia just to make sure the Malaysian Triad is chaos. It’s a Comedy Genre if its up to me to decide. The most famous quote for this movie is “LU LANGSI, LU MATI” (if you are showing off, you will die).  The most ridiculous part is that even Temulak is a gangster, he does not know how to use a gun. What a real gangster he is.

Besides of Utara’s Slang, there is also Kelantan’s Slang and Siamese Language being use. This movie makes me laugh till my cheek pain. Even so, its still cannot beat the time I watched “To Meet the Spartans” after my last examination paper in my final year in University, till today I still can feel the feeling of happiness on that day (hmm…actually...maybe it is due to it is the end of my university’s life??)

For foreigner who live in Malaysia, it is not a bad idea to watch this movie, which come with English subtitles (I wonder why I still read the subtitles even the movie is in Malay – old habit die hard)

The Wrong Goodbye, Gossip Girl s04e22

Sad. The only thing i can say about this episode. Sad that Blair and Chuck (Chair) is not endgame at this season finale. As for Serena, at last she apologizes to Nate and Dan for never choosing between them and keeps them waiting. As for chuck, we can see he is developing his maturity by letting Blair go and get her “right” love.

I can sense that Dan a little bit sad about Blair planning to marry Prince Louise of Monaco, what Eric said about Dan being sad not because of Charlie living New York convinced me.

At the end of this episode, audience get to know that Charlie is not “Charlie – the cousin of Serena” but she actually is Ivy, paid by Carol (lily’s sister) to pretend as Charlie.

And Georgina is back?? Thanks god. I miss this girl. She is sooooo beautiful like Greek goddess!! Seriously i think she (Michelle Trachtenberg) is the most beautiful girl alive in universe.

The best quote for tonight episode I am going to give it to Georgina, about her new husband, who she accuses of marrying her just to impress his colleagues. She admits that she married him to secure Milo's future and live in his loft.

and the best dress?? hmmm... easy peak. georgina's outfit at the constance alumni.

At least next season we can guess that “Charlie” will bring us some drama, and the fact of Jenny and Vanessa is no more Gossip Girl regular makes me smile till my cheek hurt. =)

Pretty little liars in 8TV, Malaysia.

Woa....i need to give a big hand to 8TV, as i am a big fan of pretty little liars, i hope all the Malaysian can enjoy this ABC teen drama as i did. In US (owh...FIY i am not even been there), the first season had ended in March 2011 and the second season will be on air in June. Yeah, i got almost all the episodes (in case u are wondering) for season 1, and as i mention b4, if u guys interested to watch it, we can find a way to share it somehow =)

If i need to give rating, i will split it into two parts for this season, which is – the first part (from episode 1 to 10) and the second part (episode 11 to 22). The first part is a bit slow and rigid, nothing is so interesting and mellow dramatic...soo... i will give it just three stars. But....but...the 2^nd part is another story. It is full of surprise, unexpected and i can promise u will crave for more when one episode end - my suggestion, grab some Oreo dip with hot Milo to help u spend your day before the next episode is airing. I will give the 2^nd part 4 ½ stars. No kidding.

the art of waiting

i am right now feel sooo itchy n hyper waiting for my wedding dress to be posted from jakarta, which is ==> irritating, annoying, nervous, happy and worried in the same time all mixed up and its like a mix of mint and chocolate (its gross i hate mint but love the choc).

i dunno about others, but i am positive that most of us hate the feeling of waiting, like...being in waiting list for collage. right? this is the feeling does it? now i get blair's feeling (in gossip girl novel) of being a waiting list for yale. its so hard that sometimes we feel like we want to knock on the person in charge door to make sure they do their job in 1/2 second.

oh, by the way, i just watch a reality show of TRUE BEAUTY (by ABC - 2009), a show in USA which try to find a winner base on their outer and inner beauty - but the contestants thought that they only will be judged base on their outer beauty. the 1st season's winner is Julia, an ex-miss Taxes teen pageant. which, i need to admit that she is so beautiful inside and outside, just that she need to wear less fake tan makeup, that is it. She is so generous, and for the first time in my life, i dont think that i am a good person after i see this show. demmm. hahahaha.

i am miss bizzy now. but i will try to find time to update my blog. i am quite disappointed that gossip girl season 4 will only be back on april 18,2011. seriously, how many break do they need?? for this season only, they had 2 break already. i really hate to wait. but i will write about the episode that i did not write yet. hmmm....and another thing that kill me to death is that this week is the season finale for Pretty Little Liars. i will die in boringness (is it even a word?)!

Andddd...about my promise to write a review on the Chronicles of merong maha wangsa, i could not yet find suitable time to watch it, since i just join as estate agent and its so messy right now, plus my research and everything (blah.blah.bluh. excuse after excuses).

Pretty Little Liars s01e18

I just watched this episode yesterday. and u guys know what? i am sooooo fall in love with Caleb, the guy who is a friend of Hanna. I will update from the beginning of the episode till the current episode later (postpone is my middle name), hahahah =)

Okays. let just talk about this episode first. In this episode the 4 little liars (Spencer, Hanna, Aria n Emily) found out that Alison is not just a a "mean girl", but also dangerous at the same time. As Ian (spancer's brother in law who used to date with Alison) said Alison is "a stalker who couldn’t take no for an answer", i might agree with him. The flashback shows Alison bring the 4 little liars to a party where Ian was with a girl, the party end up with policeman everywhere when the girl who is with Ian fell from the staircase. till now only the 4 little liars realize that there might be possibility that Alison is the 1 who push the girl away.

flashback - i suppose our little liars should look ugly coz they are "the weirdo" during "flashback days"?

While for my favorite character, This episode show hot scene between Hanna and Caleb (ouchssss), and the fighting scene between Aria n Ezra (her English teacher cum boyfriend) is so.ho.ho~ BOH.RING.

hot scene? must watch by yourself =) (no 18 sx no worries)

Fashion? i frankly have to admit i DONT admire the outfit at all, but i do adore their NAIL color and the hairdo in this show espacially hanna's braid in this episode:

the merong mahawangsa saga - Malaysia's epic movie

i saw an advertisement on this movie which will be in cinema on 10 March 2011. its a wow to malaysian. KRU production must be proud. i think it is an epic movie about merong mahawangsa, who is a legend in Malay land (before the formation of Malaysia, Malaysia is known as Malay Land).

I used to read about merong mahawangsa when i was in primary school (i sneaked in my brother's room n read it). unfortunately i already forgot the contain (amnesia, anyone?).

with God willing i will write about this movie when i watched it in March. pls catchup with me. =)

gossip girl - now n then (season 1)

I am craving more of gossip girl. but need to wait until this Tuesday (Monday in NY) for the latest episode airing. so, as to fill my so called freeeee time, i been called to write on the summary on the gossip girl from 1 season till the latest season, in my point of view.

SEASON 1

in this season, audiences was introduced to main character - serena, blair, nate, dan n chuck. in this season, chuck seem more to an add rather than a main role. but when the show developed, the writers maybe realize that people love chuck more than nate (in novel, nate is the central of attention). then only comes the relation between chuck n blair coz people love to see bad boy with bad girl (no doubt blair n chuck like magnet pole). n serena start her relationship with dan who admired her before she left for boarding school.

we can see blair struggle hard to be no 1 in everything. she is so mad that serena came back and afraid in the same time if serena take back her title as queen bee. with serena, she feel so insecure and always feel that she been put as number 2 even by her mother.

while serena in the other hand, came back to upper east side and dont care about her "it girl" title anymore, she came back and she tried to changed from party girl to girl next door. she get lots of help from dan (who admired her) , to become a good person.

Nate was introduced as blair's handsome boyfriend who at the same time had feeling to serena. he also lost his virginity to serena (G.R.O.S.S). His character is strength in season 1.

Chuck is a rich spoiled boy who in the same time is a best friend of nate's. he also befriend with serena and blair because they share same social natework. at the middle of the season, we get to see chuck first love even he had been with lots of girl before.

Dan is a poor boy from Brooklyn who lived with his father and a little sister, jenny. Blair really hates dan she dont even want to be close to dan as if he will spread the bacteria to her. dan become serena's boyfriend in this season 1.

A journey to the dream

Today i am searching house for my sis. a whole day is full of viewing houses. +____+ so tired but am so happy to update my blog. huhuhuhu..... this is actually not the journey of my dream, but hers. thinking of my little angel (my niece) living far away from me is upsetting. (tisk...tisk...), but if the new place is a place which is good for a child to grow up, so its ok for me.

pretty little liars - the introduction

pretty little liars is a new teenage show. the show starts airing in 2010, unfortunately, in Malaysia the show is not airing in any of our Tv channel. what a waste.

i will do some introduction on this show. whoever in Kuala Lumpur is interested to follow this show, just let me know =)

INTRODUCTION:

this show is base on a teenage novel PRETTY LITTLE LIARS released in 2006 and is written by sara shepard. I come to know this series when i browse through google to find some new series that i can watch during gossip girl series break (ok.ok.enough about me).

this show is about 4 best friends (Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily) plus another 1 dead best friend (Alison Dilaurentis) who had been disappeared after their sleepover before they start their 8th grade in their school Rosewood Day. everything had changed since Alison disappeared. Aria moved to Iceland, Spencer, Hanna and Emily is no longer bestfriends. Hanna find her new best buddy (Mona) and replace Alison as Queen Bee. Emily focus on her swim team the shark and Spencer become more and more perfectionist.

After 3 years of the incident, Aria returns to town and find out everything had changed. Alison body was found and the black mail of unidentified person who introduced him/herself as A start to hunt this 4 little liars life. and the show begin with more and more mystery things happen in their live. they are being black mail by email, sms, letter and others such as unpleasant mystery gift. GOSSIP GIRL S04E15

my opinion n tought:

I just watched gossip girl season 4 episode 15. my opinion is......it is awesome!!! the sadest part is that blair realize chuck's feeling towards raina is true. i feel it inside as if i am in blair's shoe..... verryyy upsetting when our ex is already move on while we thought he/she is waiting for us ( leona lewis - better in time keep played n replayed in my mind).

The magic touch of designer for this week is no where can be seen. =(  i hate Raina disco ball dress which she wear during chuck's partaaaay. in case of serena: again in this episode they try to show off serena boobiesss? NOT that fascinating dear. sorry to say. blair dress would be fine only if it is without sleeve.


more booobiees doesnt mean more fashionista serena.

gossip girl - headband obsession!

i am a hardcore fan of gossip girl show since season 1. really love the show! blair n chuck is owesome. season 1 and 2 is the best season for gossip girl. i even made headband which quite the same with blair's headband in season 2 finale. **blush**
